Endrick’s difficult start to the season at Real Madrid could lead to a January transfer, with Serie A clubs AS Roma and AC Milan reportedly showing serious interest in the young Brazilian forward. Despite arriving in Madrid with huge expectations, Endrick has struggled to secure regular playing time and has made only one appearance this season, featuring for just four minutes against Elche.
His lack of opportunities comes after an unfortunate combination of factors. A preseason injury disrupted his preparations, while fierce competition in Real Madrid’s attack has made it increasingly difficult for him to earn a place in the team. The emergence of Carlos Espi has added another obstacle, with the young forward already scoring twice this season despite receiving limited minutes.
Real Madrid are understood to be open to a temporary move rather than a permanent transfer. Given Endrick’s age and the club’s significant investment in his development, a loan spell would allow him to gain valuable experience without ending his long-term association with the Spanish giants. Roma could be particularly interested because of their upcoming Champions League meeting with Real Madrid, adding another layer of intrigue to the potential move.
Endrick had previously decided to remain at Madrid during the summer after turning down another loan opportunity. Aston Villa were among the clubs reportedly interested at the time, but the departure of Gonzalo Garcia appeared to create a clearer path for him to stay. That opportunity has not developed as expected, however, with his limited involvement leaving him frustrated and struggling to build momentum.
A move to Serie A in January could therefore provide Endrick with the regular football he needs at this stage of his career. More consistent minutes could help restore his confidence, sharpen his match fitness and allow him to rediscover the form that once made him one of Brazil’s most exciting young talents. With Roma and AC Milan both monitoring his situation, the next transfer window could become an important turning point in Endrick’s development.
