Ferran Torres has reportedly reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain over a five-year contract, with the Barcelona forward believed to have informed his current club of his intention to leave. The 26-year-old remains under contract with Barcelona for another season, but PSG have identified him as a priority target as they look to reshape their attacking options. His versatility is considered particularly attractive, as he can operate in several positions across the front line.

PSG are undergoing significant changes in attack after several departures have left gaps in the squad. Goncalo Ramos has moved to AC Milan, while Lee Kang-in has joined Atletico Madrid, and Bradley Barcola could also leave if Liverpool follow through with reported interest. There are further questions surrounding Ibrahim Mbaye, increasing the need for additional attacking depth. Torres is viewed as a suitable option because of his experience, flexibility and ability to adapt to Luis Enrique’s tactical approach.

Barcelona are expected to seek a transfer fee despite Torres having only one year remaining on his contract. The Catalan club will want to avoid losing the player without compensation, while PSG will need to reach an agreement over the financial terms before the move can be completed.
