Juventus Eye Joshua Zirkzee as Manchester United Consider Summer Exit

    0 0

Joshua Zirkzee has emerged as a transfer target for Juventus as the Italian giants explore the possibility of bringing the Manchester United striker back to Serie A. The Dutch forward is attracting interest after a difficult spell at Old Trafford, where he has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter. While Juventus are still evaluating different transfer options, Manchester United are reportedly willing to listen to offers as they reshape their squad ahead of the new season.

Although no formal bid has been submitted, discussions are expected to continue in the coming weeks. Manchester United would prefer a permanent transfer, while Juventus are also considering alternative structures, including a season-long loan with either an option or an obligation to buy. The Premier League club is aware of Juventus' interest and appears prepared to negotiate if the right proposal arrives.

Zirkzee joined Manchester United from Bologna in July 2024 for a reported fee of £36.5 million, but he has been unable to consistently deliver the performances expected of him. Over two Premier League seasons, he scored just five goals in 56 appearances and found first-team opportunities increasingly limited. Following Michael Carrick's appointment as head coach, the Dutch international featured only sparingly, making just one league start during the final months of the campaign despite beginning preseason with a goal in a convincing victory over Rosenborg.

Manchester United are already planning for the possibility of Zirkzee's departure and are expected to enter the transfer market for another striker if a deal is completed. The club continues to monitor its attacking options, particularly with Benjamin Sesko still working his way back from the injury that sidelined him at the end of last season. As the summer transfer window progresses, Zirkzee's future is likely to remain one of the key storylines involving both Manchester United and Juventus.
