Since joining Bayern Munich in July 2024, 24-year-old Michael Olise has quickly developed into one of the best players in the world. Last season, he made 57 appearances across all competitions for the club, scoring 25 goals and providing 28 assists. He has now become a key member of the France national team’s squad for the FIFA World Cup.
According to Spanish media outlet El Debate, Olise has made it clear that he wants to hold a meeting with Bayern Munich’s management immediately after the World Cup to discuss his future plans.
Real Madrid’s interest in the French winger is no longer a secret. Olise is currently preparing for the World Cup with France, where several Real Madrid players, including Kylian Mbappé and Aurélien Tchouaméni, are also part of the squad, meaning he is fully aware of the attention coming from the Santiago Bernabéu.
Although Real Madrid continues to monitor the situation, Bayern Munich remains determined to keep hold of Olise and has no intention of letting him leave. In order to secure his long-term future, the German giants are preparing a significant improvement to his salary package.
Reports suggest that Bayern plan to increase Olise’s annual wages from his current €8 million to €14 million, demonstrating their commitment to keeping their prized asset.
The battle over Olise’s future is expected to enter a decisive stage once the World Cup comes to an end.
